    Nick's 1/72 Hasegawa FW190A5 - for Alan G

This is a 1970s tooling which was likely very well regarded when it was originally issued. It does have its limitations, but I made no attempt to modernise it apart from giving it some nice new decals and replacement gun barrels and pitot from aluminium tube and wire which are a little overscale. Paints used were a mix of AK Real Colour, MRP and SMS depending on what was to hand or easily available. This and my Frog offering were really enjoyable builds and I hope Alan would have appreciated my efforts had he still been with us.

Here are the pics. Thanks to all who followed and commented along the way.

Very nice result Nick, great paint and camo.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

That's a nice result, even more so considering it's a very old kit. Alan would have loved it.
