Sorry for not posting photos up when i said but i forgot i was at a car show over the weekend so i didn't have time but i'm here now and it's going together nicely (now).

The 7.5 cm Pak 40 is looking good and just needs some more weathering and is now in/on the hull, speaking of the hull the lower part has been painted so i can get the wheels and tracks on. I'm painting this one with the brush too with it being just one colour. At the moment i don't know how i'm having the base (gravel or in a field), i do know it's going to be summer of '43 in Kursk. I like the Scott's (Noble) idea of fake animal fur for grass so it's looking like a field. Right, i'll shut up now and let you have a look at the pics.

    Have fun, John

Done some work over the past few days on the Marder as my new toy is apparently annoying the wife, well it is a RC Tiger with sound (oops!). Right the Marder, well i'm trying to make it look ok and i think it's working but the tracks was a real pain in the you know where. Done two of the four figures, painted with Vallejo, you know it's the only paint the wife does like "because it smells nice".I know how this model is going the look, summer 1943 Kursk, going for a resupply so it's a relaxed atmosphere (as relaxed as Kursk was at the time).

          Have fun, John

You wouldn't of thought so if you was here Paul lol, it's a pain. I have the Tiger 1 & BergePanther from Italeri and are great kits but this, it must be old molds or i'm doing it wrong. Airbrush is still a no go thats why it looks odd with the paint. Them figures are great need to get some more for the stash, just in case.

Thanks fellas, got a bit more done today, well the base anyway. My usual recycling, old picture frame and polystyrene block, static grass and long grass is not recycled though. The polystyrene block was made to fit the frame then roughen up on top ready for the grass, painted in earthy colours. Thinned PVA on top of that then the static grass, then it was time for the long grass. I made a tool some time ago out of an old needle and a cork, cut the eye of the needle to make a nice little poker in type tool thingy. I forgot to take photos of the ground work being built up, i just lost track of time.

                    Have fun, John

Lookin good John, might use some of them tips for grass on a Viet dio (well in the future).

What is it with Heng Long S&S units that drive women up the wall, my Mrs hates it when I start its patrol missions round the house! I think it sounds nice.....

Thanks lads, the grass was easy to do as it's not glued in just stuck in the holes. And i forgot to add to this post that it's now finished. http://www.scale-models.co.uk/completed/10064-two-degrees-left.html
