Gav's "little dwarf fella"

Won this fella off Evil-bay for less than a tenner. Stands about 4in high. It's either going to go well or in the bin. Started last night & will take updated photo when I can find my phone!

looks like whats-his-face off that lord of the rings jobbie

Loads of detail there, should be a great figure when painted up.

You mean Gimli son of Gloin perhaps?

All dwarves look roughly like this even the female ones!

This one looks like he/she didn't have enough ketchup with his rat inna bun...

This is the progress as of yesterday. Tamiya flesh on the face with metallic grey drybrushed over nato black on the chain mail.

It is amazingly detailed and I'm fairly certain it cost someone a lot more than a tenner originally. I only hope I can do it justice..............to be continued.

I've not done badly then! Armour has been painted Vallejo brass & hair Vallejo terracotta. My first time using any paints other than Tamiya or Revell and I'm very pleased. Far thicker & cover easier.

Looking on the Reaper website at the two finished articles, I've got some work to do!

Done quite a bit since. Needs some ginger highlights (not a proper dwarf unless he's a ginge!)

Suppose I'd better attempt the eyes soon.................

Well done Gav, thats coming on a treat.

I would have my doubts calling him ginger, I think I would play safe and say a red head. lol
