got some extra bits on the chassis and built the two main interior assemblies (just a basic black/rust-brown wash to simulate an oil stained workspace thats been made worse with the open turret letting in the elements).

 still loads to do.

Just a few shots to show the interior in situ.

There's still a load of bits to add ... shame it's covered up , although you can see a fair bit of it through the hatches and turret if get close up as i've just found out from losely fitting the hull top.

Shame they didn't include an engine to sit in the back compartment, it looks bare .... time to browse for some pictures and scratch one methinks.

The 32 (YES.. 32 !!!!) ammo sleeves come in two parts in the kit, The "lid" is a little disc about 1.5mm across, i've found it's best to just cut them roughly off the spue and glue them first, they can be cleaned up easier when in one piece.

This was a task equal to the tedium of "wheel building"

Looking really nice Colin. Cant you find a resin engine for it? That would be the cherry on top of the cake!

Resin might be an option Ian, although if i can find a decent shot of the interior then i can have a bash at making one, after all we have loads of time to do this in eh Comment

Ok then, got a few little clocks and dials painted, added the ammo pods and scratched a little W12 engine for the back end. took a few reference points from a "salvage squad" program that renovated this particular tank in one episode.

 hope you like

Thanks chaps ... it just looked a bit sad with all the detail in the lower hull .. but no engine?

The kits full of detail and its a puzzler that the engine isn't represented on the sprues.

Ole ... you have to visit the edge of insanity sometimes to get a result, you should know this from that awesome wacky paintjob you did on that biplane ..... Comment
