Big dollop of optimism there Jason. Just add that it is nice to be able to study in the real these machines. To see how compact they are and how much they stuff on them. Rare chance in Jersey to do that.


Just cannot wait to get to my Lynx. Another 2 weeks and should be finished the Supacat Jackal. But not rushing after spending all this time building it I do not wish to wreck it.

Forgot Jason. When I built the Merlin it did not come ,as is also the case with the Lynx, with the crew.


I bought a Lynx crew set which are very good. Very well detailed.

Bit pricey but if you are building with open cargo doors well worth it.

The detail in the pe is very nice. This should make a great kit, worth the effort I think!

I've been slowly getting on with the Lynx. The Interior isn't too far off now, still quite a bit of PE left but all of the painting is done. It would be nice to get the fuselage buttoned up this week.

A quick update. Its beginning to look less like a never ending pile of plastic and photoetch and a little more like a Lynx.


Still very impressed with this kit and the Eduard etch; I had a bit of fun shoehorning the interior assembly in place, I cant emphasise enough the importance of dry fitting everything, the tolerances are soooo tight.


I'm hoping it should progress a bit faster now.

Just a small observation Jason, but will you paint the top of the hand held fire extinguisher a brass colour?


Looking great with the etched brass add ons.

Cheers Rick. Luckily I noticed that after I posted the images and remembered to dab a bit of dull brassy colour on it before I glued the thing together.


Tell you what though, there's so much to ing and fro ing between the Airfix and Eduard instructions I've had to start keeping a snagging list otherwise I am bound to miss something.
