Eventually primed it which took quite a bit of time as the cap on the spray can was very reluctant to come off and when it did I managed to knock the spray button off. I eventually found it several feet away under some furniture. I have also done a bit of pre-shading. This time I have just filled in the panel lines with a very fine marker pen as all i want is just a hint of the panel lines. Its the first time I have tried this so we will have to see how it turns out.

Nice to see two Typhoons in different scales coming together so well. Doing a great job on this.Comment

Have now thrown some paint at it. Brush painted in Humbrol acrylic. Was not impressed with the paint, It took a lot of stirring and went on very streaky, I have had to do 6-7 coats to get it reasonable. I will let it harden up for a day or so before I mask up to do the metal bits at the back.

Yes I know what you mean, there appears to be no consistency in the range. I have got some that are like treacle and others that are like water. i am now gradually changing over to the Revell range, although our local Boyes shop have now stocked up with quite a large selection of vallejo paints and I may give them a go in the future.Comment

Plodding on,painted a bit more and now getting to the decal stage. There seem to be such a lot in the common to all versions bit of the sheet. I can barely see some of them. I am going with the Spanish version mainly so the roundels can add a splash of colour to it.
