Well with the look on Mr Tomcat's face he approves the choice you've made Monica.

It looks like mice have been at the instructions, and what was Mr Tomcat doing while this was going on? He doesn't seem to be much of a mouser.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Monica is it the cat that's building it because it looks most impressed.

Im not building mine with the side armour, and painting it with Redbrown over Dark Yellow, I also did not use the cement block in the kit, so you have lots of options with this one. It will be interesting to see how you build yours!

will be nice to see one, with out the skirts, do like your plan on that, ,as it dose change the look of them,

this one cough my eye,Bob,in the pic,its a tri-color ,but with only ,a think dark yellow line, some think a bit different as well, and ,I have sean,

them with a mesh side armour ,instead of the full skirts to hold the camo of,branches, but may need to run this past Patrick,as I think only some models had this

                option, :S

I like this camouflage scheme, very nice indeed, a base coat of olive-green with red brown and a narrow stripe of dark yellow.

There's very little documentary evidence of StuG camo schemes Moni, most of the colour plates available are really just guesswork

So that one would be ok even though it's a StuG III rather than a IV.

Mesh sideskirts were only used on Panzer IV ausf J variants & the Tamiya kit is based on the ausf G so they wouldn't be suitable. Unless the crew had replaced their battered Schürzen with some scrounged mesh ones
