GB ideas for 2026

Just wondering if any one has any ideas for GBs for 2026

Ive been trying to think of notable things thats happened in 1916/1926/1936 etc that give a reason to model stuff

1916 was year that tanks were first used in combat..... So history of tanks?

1936 was first flight of helicopter and also first flight of the spitfire...... Both lend to a lot of variation for builds

1946......Churchill coins the phrase 'iron curtain'....... So either anything cold war or nato/sovbloc aircraft

1956......first flight of Dassault Mirage III.... Lots of variants used by loads of countries

Other than that i cant think of anything suitable

Anyone else got any ideas?

We only have the logistic gb bookmarked so far so we need to put our thinking caps on

Ive been thinking about suggesting an Italian air force GB for a while now - any era or aircraft (of any country ) just serving in Italian markings , so the co belligerent ACI , aeronautica militaire , or modern italian air force are all included. Theres loads of interesting ( if not easy ) schemes and lots of rarely seen interesting subjects.

Apparently its also the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. declaration of independence so maybe a U.S. themed build?
Or African military, lots of unusual camo schemes.

Did you see that american series where they had a team of wood and metal workers, artists, inventors etc and each program they would take a da vinci design and actually try and build it? The helicopter was a monumental fail lol lol

I didn't see that series, but I was told by an American (so it must be correct...) that the US military sponsored a university project to build the Leonardo helicopter and submit it to the forces for evaluation. The Navy said it was hopeless because it could only go up and down but couldn't steer. The Army said it was for artillery observation, instead of a balloon, so it didn't need to steer, just going up and down was all it was designed for!
