Reason I ask about the weld seam detail is that I have a Dragon KT with the Zimm applied therefore any plate seams are hidden.
Don't worry if it turns out to be a bit of a hassle. I'm sure a Dragon KT without the Zimm will be part of my stash at some time.

      Cheers

I hadn't forgotten about the weld seams Paul! But I was struggling to get a decent picture - smartphone cameras aren't the best at macros

Still hopefully this will come out ok

One thing (of many that I like about Dragon kits is their attention to detail. Not many other manufacturers worry about stuff like this.

If you need any more pics Paul, just let me know.

Cheers Tommy! Not an update on the tank, but here's the crew I'm doing. They're from the Dragon self-propelled crew & will hopefully be done in SS autumn pea camo... if I can paint it properly

                  Hey Patrick
The kit has some terrific detail, the weld seams are very nicely done by Dragon.
The model is coming on nicely and the crew will look excellent I'm sure when finished in the camo scheme.

Is this to be an Ardennes KT?

                  Cheers
                  Paul

Thanks guys for your uplifting words!

Paul, I'm not sure about what camo scheme I want to do. I'd kinda like to go with the 'what-if' octopus scheme, but my choice of autumn crew uniforms has rather scuppered that one!

I might pick one from the fighting in Hungary circa late '44 to early' 45. Many of the SS units there removed the fenders & I like the look of a Tiger B without them.

Well, here's the crew with their camo finished. I'm happy with how it turned out. Just a bit of finishing left.

Finally added the brass to the hull. There are a few bits left, but these will be added after painting
