Pete's Revell 1\144 Corvette HMS Snowberry

I got this one second hand it is started but only the hull which has been prepared for RC but I will be doing static only the rest of the kit is thankfully untouched, but the rear deck has been cut narrow so I will make a replacement the middle deck is OK and the bow deck is missing but lucky I have 10 sheets of planked plasicard that I have have for a while and at last I have found a use for.
Now for the pics

That should keep you busy for a couple of hours with the speed you build Peter! Take it easy after your op. Hope everything is healing ok.

Made a start on curing the deck problems I have one of the original deck sections but it has been cut narrow so I have placed a piece of planked plasticard underneath and the rest of the decks will have to been scratch built as they are missing

If its OK with the mods I would like to carry on this thread but with my 1\144 scale snow berry as my 1\72 i can't get the missing decks any more.
I would be grateful the title could be changed to 1\144 on the scale front.

As I have bad luck with the 1\72 I have started on the 1\144 version and I have finished the hull, painted and hopefully a good lot of rust in the right places

That looks gery nice indeed.

I hadn't realised how much detail they would add to this smaller scale and from your pictures it looks really good. Think i might have to search this one out myself at some point.

Hope it all continues well.

Bad luck with those decks. Its a pity.
Still you bounced right back with the 1/144 job. Nice work.
