Small update on the dio, the ruined church is almost about ready for the start of the roof, I did encounter a few problems with this build, these being the fit of the building sections to the kit base, a small bit of the base had to be cut, in order for the two sections of the church to be able to sit in the grooves, this was because the grooves in the base seemed to narrow for the sections.
It was more than likely my mistake but I have come across this problem before, when I have built Miniart buildings before

I have made a start on the second building, with the walls being assembled and ready for fixing to the base, but for now, this is where they are at, I hope you like it so far

Hi Tommy
These miniart building's are really detailed but I had similar problems with the cafe kit. The slightest gap in any joints can cause problems later in the building process mate.
I was pulling my hair out with it ( not that I have much left to pull out lol)

Hi Colin you're not wrong mate, I've had to do a bit of (let's call it plastic surgery) on both of these buildings
The worst being the base of the Village diorama with fountain, I soon found that the track's/grooves already in situ on the base, were not wide enough for the actual building to sit in
So a small bit of surgery, soon had that problem rectified
I have noticed that not everything lines up with these kits, but if you are prepared to over look these small issues, you soon come to realize, that they do build into very nice kits of scale buildings
Anyway this is where they are both at the moment, hope you like them

Just a small update, started by putting in a floor in the village house, this was done using coffee stirrers and 3mm x 3mm balsa wood strips.

A partial floor will be added to downstairs, again using the same materials, and some wallpaper to the walls inside the house.

The church will then receive a partial roof, and I'm trying to source some bits and bobs to add inside the church, I hope you like it so far
