Thanks lads, glad you are liking it so far
Managed to get some more done on the Russian lady, in way of starting the gun assembly, this went together fairly easily with no issues what so ever

Next was adding more bits to the interior, again this was fairly straight forward with no issues, other than drivers seat, this was a bit of a pain as it is so flimsy and the instructions aren't clear enough as to where the seat locates at the back to the hull floor.

Other than that, it's slowly but surely coming together.....slowly being the operative word s

Very interested to see this one come together.

I have never owned or built a miniart vehicle but often been tempted.

Now i have the amount of kit you get for your money i think i could be steered their way when next the opportunity exists.

Hope it all continues well.

Hi Tony nice to have you along mate, you can't go wrong with these kits, the interior boxed versions are excellent value for money, especially when you compare what you are getting in the box, say compared to a Dragon kit.

The only thing with some of the Miniart kits is that some of the pieces are very miniscule and delicate, especially when removing them from the sprues.

Other than that, they are worth every penny

Thanks Stuart, glad you like it buddy

Small update on the build, managed to get a little more done, not much, and still over 300 pieces to go, these kits are great, but there sure is a lot of plastic...slowly getting there, onwards and upwards

Come across a small problem with some warping on the track fenders but I'm sure this can be rectified by putting it in some warm water...hopefully

For anyone thinking of getting on of these, do it, there is so much to keep you busy, as there is lots and lots of plastic, but be warned, you will get frustrated along the way, as some of the parts are very small and fiddly, failing that get the version that does not have the full interior

Thanks Stuart, it seems like it`s never ending, I didn't know you could cram so much plastic into one box :anguished:

After a few health issues I decided to get back to the su-85, I finished off the engine and fitted it into the lower hull along with the radiators and fuel tanks etc, next I moved onto the fighting compartment, most of this is done all bar some wiring details and the shells, along with the gun breech, shell storages, the roof, vision blocks, hatches, internal gear etc, there is so much plastic in the box it's never ending :surprised:
