Well i fitted the Erla masks and painted the RLM 74. I think it looks fabby if you don't mind me saying so lol.

Made a little boo boo as i forgot to 'un-tack' some masking tape and so it has pulled off a little bit of paint here and there. But it's nothing that a quick spray cannot remedy. Once that is done it's time for the mottling and then the black underside.

Not a great wingy person, Alan, but have had read through from the start.
Lots of interesting technics, thought those seatbelts were very realistic, but hard to do.
You've put a lot of effort into this and it shows.

Cheers John. Taken some effort and lots of money in the swear jar but it's worth it

Certainly is Joe. I never knew about this paint scheme until i looked into building this aircraft.

Done the mottling tonight. Think i finally have the hang of the Xtracrylix paints. First two photos show just the RLM 75 (grey) added. The second two show the RLM 74 (green) added.

Think it's come out alright. What you guys think?

I'm using Montex masks for the national insignia's and numbers. For the Erla scheme i'm using a company called Pmask.

Both have been great to use.

Removed the masks tonight because i need to overspray some of the national markings. A couple of bits to touch up but all in all i am very impressed with the results. And not a jot of silvering in sight
