The seat belts for the kit are transfers and as I don't have any replacements I thought I'd try a little experiment and put them on to some Tamiya tape (other brands are available :smiling3: ) Then I shall carefully cut them out and see if they look any better, [COLOR=rgb(184, 49, 47)]if not plan B look for some[/COLOR].

Despite the weather, work and a gardening project I've managed to almost finish the cockpit. The seatbelt experiment failed miserably but I found some in my stores I'd forgotten about so they will do. All the Eduard stuff is on just needs some touching up.

Another quick update, fitted the seatbelts today and fastened her up. The fit is absolutely superb, best aircraft I’ve built yet. Looks like an aircraft now.

Now cleaning up some joins and getting ready to undercoat the main part of the aircraft. I've decided to add the radio wire so have made the first anchor point on the tail, just got to design one for the other end on the antenna.

Like me Si better late than never :smiling2: It is rather small, its a strand of wire through a 0.5 mm dia aluminium tube. I shall be using EZ line as I have quite a lot of it.
