    Hi Paul
Missed the start of your struggles - sorry. I've not heard of PM Model kits but given your experience I'll not be looking out for one :rolling:
Despite the kit you seem to have it sorted. The paint job camo may be simple but looks good.

As Jim said. Dispite your trials and tribulations with the kit, the painting looks bob on. I have to admit i really do like this sort of mottling.

I am seriously considering getting the Revell kit of this aircraft (even with it's faults).

PM were a Turkish outfit, they had a thing for doing unusual kits......when the owner died a couple of years ago alledgedly his wife had all the tooling destroyed so no one else could profit from them......dont know how true it is

i wouldnt consider the Revell kit...................they borrowed the tooling off PM!!!!!! .....same kit as this!

According to Scalemates the Revell kit is from the Dragon moulds.

lol no probs Paul. Very rare i go into 1/72 scale these days due to my arthritis. Still i am impressed what you've done with this kit dispite it's many faults and lack of detail

so since the last sitrep, decals on, a coat of matt varnish overall, masking removed, undercarriage installed (which required a bit of keyhole surgery in the nacelles).......despite packing the nose with loads of ballast its still a tail sitter so had to add a little support under the tail

next is add the radar greeblies and a few bits and bobs and its finished!.......hurrah! cant flippin' wait!

                    Hi Paul
That looks good. A real silk purse from this sows ear. Almost over the finish line.

Well you beat that into shape nicely.
In some way I find the ones that put up a bit of a fight always more rewarding when it comes out right!

Glad you resisted the urge to bin it. Patience and skill has produced a good model.
