I've got that one in the stash too - might do it after the Cromwell.

I think I might tag along and get a kit bought, I have very limited build space at the moment so this could fit the bill.

Peter, which version are you going to do? Be good to see what each of us can do with the same kit.

I’m debating whether or not to join in, with the following kit:

The main reason I’m not sure I want to is because of the tracks: they’re the standard M113 type, when the real thing rode on Diehl tracks. I have some ideas on how to correct them, but it’s a lot of work that I’m not certain I want to do right now

I have a couple of alternative kits in mind, though I’m not all that enthousiastic about them.

Come on join in it can’t be that bad pick something built it for fun and tag along with us. I’m not happy with the tracks on my build either but who cares I’m having fun with it and watching the others build there’s.

Thats what I like about this forum they don’t hold you to high stands but they will give in put to help you be a better modeler in a nice constructive way and help you make your models look good no matter what the age or parts you have to work with. My hats off to all who have help me here to become a better modeler and enjoy this hobby.

In that case I’ll pick another model, as I want to do the YPR justice when I do get round to building it

Maybe a Revell Crusader III or a Hasegawa M24 Chaffee …

I hope you chose the Chaffee I’ve built that kit when I was a kid and loved it. I would like to see your take on it

Both sound like good builds Jakko, maybe you should flip a coin to decide!

I’d prefer the Matchbox one myself, but I don’t have one unbuilt. Other real choices are a Matchbox Panther or T-34 (I’ve also got some Revell Panthers and Tigers, but those are being built by several people already, and a bunch of Plastic Soldier Company Universal Carriers and Shermans).
