Thanks boys.
I'll build the model complete first, then I'll have a think what to do afterwards.
Cold, wet and b****y miserable outside, so big excuses to be in my den..... :thumb2:
Final coat of brushed on Vallejo Model Air Desert Sand added and violet/grey for the 'wheels'.

Oops, forgot the wayward wheels, also I've spotted the handrails need some more cleaning up.

Update.
I've fitted the plastic track links. Superb fit and surprisingly easy to do. Hardly any cleaning up. The hardest part was warming up the finished top length to get an acceptable sag in the track!
Very impressed.
