    Beowullf's Cromwell

had a strange turn of mojo loss recently..........it's not that I don't want to build, just that when I do things seem to go wrong, I'm simply not getting the quality of work I expect, my confidence has took a knock.........the Mercedes C9 has gone back in the box.....the GMC pickup is about to go in the paint stripper for the 4th time!.....so I'm going to do what I normally do at times like this........go braille scale armour!......going to do another for the little armour GB

Cromwell is pretty new tool, i like how the tracks are moulded

      Hi Paul
That goes together nicely....one hint though, if you paint the wheels and tracks separately you can’t get them on if the side skirts have already been added.....the order of assembly needs to be hull, wheels, tracks, then side skirts.....I found out the hard way :flushed:

Think we all hit the wall at some point. hope a quick build gets the mojo going and perks up the confidence...I know it works for me:thumb2:

Interested to see how the Cromwell goes together.

Keep going mate, there's nothing worse that a couple of set backs like the painting to put you first .
Hopefully this will go well, look fwd to seeing an up date .
            John .

Hi Paul, nice to see you getting back into things with this little beauty, I'm doing one myself, but progress has stalled due to me buying a house! Will follow your progress.

had a clear coat and decals added, next step is a wash and assembly before a matt coat all over

calling this done cos i need to make space on the bench for the weekend

its had a black wash and a light misting of muddy brown on the lower half, was going to add some lumpy mud but decided not to

nice enough little kit but not impressed with some of the moulding, especially as its a 'new tool'

more pics in he finished thread
