Hi, looking good, I only have one criticism and that is the title, not sure if you chose panza for a reason, otherwise correct spelling would be better, my grandfather was a Panzer Grenadier, that's all, no offence intended.

Corrected the bit of dodgy body work that I spotted in the previous photos and redid the base coat

while I was at it I blocked in a few other parts with base colour - mittens, gas mask case, bread bag, water bottle and white wash to helmet

Nice figure Simon. I'll watch this one develop if only because its one of yours and its in paint on the first page!

I did a first round of highlights last night - look a bit dodgy in the photos. Hood looks like it has been attacked by a giant seagull - not quite the finish I was after

Well, I appear to have lost what little painting ability I had - just can't seem to get it right

Steve If you get any earlier you and Mr T could have a TV show ," The Night Modellers "
Simon have you hacked any bits off yet, or have I missed it !
Just went back , no bits hacked off but pewter has made an appearance :thumb2: oh the relief :smiling3:

Looking OK to me Simon. I spend 99% of the time in despair, but have learned to keep going.

Steve - head in oven, gas mark 4 will get you an equivalent tan

John - yes we have pewter but only a small amount

Peter - I am just not getting a decent transition between highs, lows and base with this, seem to have lost the knack since last figure I did. It is sort of either on or off rather than gradual which has the effect of making the highlights look OTT and rather light

I shall try and rescue it before FPS bath-time

Looks like one of those where the more you paint the more detail you find and the famous cry of "Missed a bit" echoes around inside your head.

spent some time working on this and it appeared to be going much better until I saw it blown up! Oh dear

I think he looks much better at normal viewing scale so sit well away from your screen :smiling5:
