I will allow the use of rubber bands as my kit won't go together without them.

        Hi Peter
I reckon that will be good news for all of us building planes :thumb2:

I've got a Panzer to finish before I start this GB, but here's what I have to choose from:Click image for larger version

I'm leaning towards the Hurricane, if the Revell "Model Kit" counts as a starter set - seems to meet the criteria. If not, then the Seahawk. Why have I got three of the Spitfire???

I haven't got a clue but plenty to choose from.

If the Seahawk is a reissue of the ancient one, you’re in for some serious work Pete.
I have the original non-starter in the stash and the parts seem to be of the good old struggle type of kit.

The Hurricane of Revell is pretty easy to build in comparison:smiling:, good luck choosing.

The Hurricane has the advantage of fewer large areas of the same colour!
On the other hand, I like the idea of building one Spit according to the GB rules, then another outside the GB with the benefit of airbrush, masking, microset, etc...

                  Hi Pete
One Spit as per GB rules and one using all the modern modellers gear. Interesting comparison. Is all this "stuff" we "can't do without" really needed.

                    Heads up
You do not need to include the GB's title in the title of your thread.
Your name. Subject. Brand and scale. Nothing more nothing less.
Heads down and back to work.

Sorry Ian. I think my thread title was wrong. Thanks for sorting it out.

Hi I don't know if everyone is having a bit of trouble painting there model, I have found if you cut the brush square you get a much better finish and a drop of water may help to.
                        Pete.
This is what mine look like not to bad.

Ok chaps as you are having glue trouble (I have more air than glue and I am going to run out) I have allowed the use of extra and with Ian's permission you can use your usual stuff but that is all.

Peter for President - he gets my vote :smiling: My tube has a tiny hole in the bottom so is hard to get it to squeeze out of the top without squeezing out from the bottom !!
                            Thanks Peter :thumb2:

Permission has now been granted so you can ditch the kit stuff if you so wish however I will be persisting until I do run out.

Well, my Panzer is nearing completion, so I've decided:

I rather like the idea of one within the GB, then another using whatever seems necessary, although with my lack of talent I suspect they won't look much different!
