    Daves Airfix 1/72 Sea king

Finally I got to open the box up it all looks most excellent I've had a quick look at the instructions looks like I can build it with the rotors folded which could be fun.
On the plus side I found a use for the plate warming rack that came with the new cooker. I have made a paint holder other wise I would foresee a mess.

I take it's the new mould seaking and not that awful one and I wish you good luck with all that yellow.

                  Following.

I'm a total newbie but am looking to build one of these as my second model. My brother used to fly in SAR Seakings as a winchman before the service was privatised, so they hold a particular interest for me.

                      Hi Dave
So far the only helicopter in the GB. So far so good but the yellow is yet to come.

I had forgotten about the glue it turns stringy very quickly but experience has helped I use the kit box to put a small amount on and a sliver of box to apply it with.
I'm really enjoying the process no PE no filler no airbrush just 4 colours not sure what the result will be but it's very enjoyable.
