Masking tape is allowed and I have this to look forward to.

I wish I'd known that earlier...
Decal off (didn't take much), masking and paint on.
I'm going to have a short break from starter sets and build my "under a fiver at Cosford" Fw190.

Making good progress. The tail stripe will be better painted anyway. I hope the masking tape comes off ok as without primer the paint may be a bit fragile.

Stripe painted, and masking off - a little creepage, but not too bad. Serials can go on tomorrow.

A nice kit to build, let down by the paint and the decals - as soon as the second part of this GB is finished I'm going to try some Microsol on the decals to hopefully get rid of the silvering, and give it a matt coat to try to hide some of the brushmarks.
