    Peterairfix's Spitfire Mk.Ia starter kit build

    As I will be taking part in the second part of this GB and it's an easy kit to find this is my second victim.
    And it doesn't look too bad a kit a lot better than I am used to.
    As usual it has those paints and glue so let's see what I can do.Click image for larger version

    Watching with interest. Looks a decent kit. I think it is one of Airfix's newer kits - around 2010 maybe.

          It is a nice little kit, my daughter bought me one as a joke Father’s Day present a few years ago. I just cut the header card off and binned it, then made the kit...it went together like a dream.....I think I did the black and white undersides....

            Looking good. One or two more thinned coats should do it without clogging up the detail.
