TBH, there’s probably only four where 1:35 is concerned, not six as it may seem: the Academy and Tamiya kits are interchangeable and the Revell one is the 1976 Italaerei kit.

I see. It's not going to be the same quality if Revell prints a Dragon kit as when Dragon does a Dragon kit, is my impression, though.

They just buy the sprues from each other, then add their own box, instructions and decals. I’ve built a couple of Revell reboxes of Dragon and AFV Club kits, and they were the same quality as the originals.

Sounds like it. I must add that I built those models when the originals were fairly newly released, like the AFV Club FV101 Scorpion that Revell also brought out within a few years. Could well be that by now, quality has gone down noticeably, of course, due to mould wear or something.

Could be. Also, I hear that different prints from Tamiya can have more or less flash/mold lines. (The example was the Sd.Kfz. 7/1 with flak, I believe)

Have you seen Revell's re-boxing of Dragon's 1/32 Bf110? Defo an improvement on Dragon's instructions.

I havn't, but it would be a cool plane to do one day. I am writing about the sprues of plastic. I can imagine instructions being better than some of Dragon's.
