Neil, Steven, Steve, Jim - thanks

Still a lot of small fiddly bits to do - tool brackets, lights, 'welding' etc plus my usual stumbling block the time consuming track link clean up

Not a lot to report as most of Saturday was spent asleep!

What a waste of a day off but unfortunately I didn't have any say in the matter :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping::sleeping: :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:

Consequently I only managed to make a start on the hatch locking mechanisms

        Morning Simon
Sorry about the extended stay in the Land of Nod. I always look at your posting time and I see another one at silly o'clock.
Those locking whatsits look really nice. So many parts to make up something so small.

Hi Jim - think I'm turning nocturnal. Slept through large chunks of Sunday as well - now awake and posting this at 1am ! Been waiting all week for the weekend then sleep through most of it - really annoying :disappointed2:

I did manage a few little bits here and there in the waking moments:

lastly I managed to fill in the front side sections of the track guards - the kit part was removed when thinning the guards down

            Hi Simon
Once again I am really impressed with the way you can scratch these tiny details. Those hatch locks look great.

toolbox and jacking block added - 23 etch parts in total, a lot of them stupidly small

it took me quite a few hours to get these assembled - a couple of the smallest parts went to the carpet monster but luckily Eduard anticipated this and provided extras

                  Hi Simon
Love the tool box and jack box but 23 parts is pure crazy but right up your street! :smiling:

Nice update Mr T. Will you be taking out the jack block for painting or is it there to stay?

Sincere apologies but am VERY behind on this. That really is some truly stunning work there. It will almost be a shame to cover all your additions in paint.

                            Very well done indeed.

                            Andrew

after a right struggle I finally managed to get the shovel in place

the etch part designated for the handle support was already used for a light on the front track guard so had to make one from a section of the fret as nothing else jumped out of the etched bits as being correct

lost the handle end stop so will need to make one from more of the fret - at this rate there will be more made from the fret than actual parts
