Bob, Andrew, Jakko, Steve, thanks guys, the roof is only dry fitted for now, but it fits quite well, it may need a bit of thin styrene to shim it level with the fighting compartment walls. Watch this space to see how it goes.

Back with a bit more progress, the upper & lower hull are together, with the infill pieces for the fighting compartment made & fitted. The infills took two attempts, they weren't wide enough first time! It's going together as you expect for a Tamiya kit, but I'm sure the add on bits will bite me on the behind after saying that.

Thanks Bob, a bit more slow progress, with engine & hull hatches on.

Thanks John & Steve, hoping I can get a bit more done one evening, too much stuff to do!

A small amount of progress, the gun & fighting compartment roof are on, the roof needing a bit of filing & sanding to get it to sit right.

No' I haven't forgotten this one! I have re started with the etch machine gun shield, this was a bit fiddly, being made up of a number of small etch parts, needs a bit of a clean up when the CA glue has set fully.

Simon, it's got a coating on it, not sure what it is!
A bit more done today, put the mg shield & hatches on, the shield took a bit of trimming, might need a bit of adjustment yet. The intake grills were a bit large, needing a bit of trimming, but the etch headlight mount went on easily!
Started work on the commanders cupola. the etch set has the fixings for the armoured glass, which are fixed to the kit part & thin clear plastic fixed in between for the armoured glass, not sure if you can see that in the photos.

A bit more done today, built up the etch schurtzen rails, first folding up the main rails & adding the hooks on the marks. The supports were a bit fiddly, with small braces glued in with CA, then attaching them to the main rails, 2mm long thin wire sections going through holes in both the rails & supports. Attaching them to the hull was managed without it all falling to bits!
