    Steves - 1/35 Tamiya Austin Tilly "Yep i shot him down"

    Going to build a little Vignette with Tamiya's Austin Tilly and some figures from D-Day Miniatures (On their way from Poland)

    Dont think the actual Kit is going to take long to put together;

    I had one of the 1/48 ones, no not a lot to them, but a nice little truck.

          Hi Steve, I'll rest my eyes on something different here other than 1/700 scaled ships if you don't mind. Got one of these in the stash so will pick up some tips. A vignette will be something different for a change as well. A D-Day theme...my favorite.

          Cheers,
          Richard

                Bit of work on the tilly, as to be expected no fit issues anywhere, just drops together;

                Chassis and engine fitted and weathered up a bit;

                    errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I think you put wrong engine in? That looks like a lawnmower engine!

                        I know. Amazing really. What's even more bizarre is when I put it next to my Pantsir I am building, it looks minute

                          Hey Toby, try not to be so insult'n to the lawn mowers out there......:tongue-out3: They can't help it if they got more "poop" than that little Tilly. Great looking build so far Steve, I have seen photos of these little guys but they aren't available in my scale (1/87) that I know of.
                          Keep up the good work. Rick H.

                            There are a few 3D printed ones Rick but they are not up to much - either not very well modelled or not very well printed from what I have seen

                            Looking good Steve

                            I just got the same kit last week with the intent of converting it back into an Austin 10 saloon staff car

                              Thanks for that Simon, not much in 3D excites me. I do like the look of these "Wee" vehicles though. Sorry for jacking your thread Steve.
