Nice, link-and-length tracks and a suspension that doesn’t consist of about a hundred parts

Nice choice Ian. Will you be basing it around Normandy WWII or something totally left field like the Egyptian Army 1950's 60's??

I was thinking around Normandy, in a little diorama with some fire shooting out. But I will now take a look at some pictures of the Egyptian arm ones, now you mention it Steve.

Having read the history of Major General Sir Percy Cleghorn Stanley Hobart KBE, CB, DSO, MC and giving him his rightly deserved full title I shall grab a seat.
Considering the mere sight of this in battle could gain surrendered from the Germans who were rightly terrified of this tank .

Or winter cam for Operation Blackcock and the later fighting in the Reichswald. They were also used at the crossing of the Senio in Italy and I think in Korea too.

                    Hi Ian
Great subject. These Tamiya 1/48 kits are usually very nice. Quite a choice of theatres the guys have suggested.

Made up all the tracks, very easy being link and length. Going to paint the lower part of the hull and tracks, then put them on, before putting the top part of the lower hull and side skirts on.

And as you can see I’ve also built the turret.
