Simon I must admit I asked myself the same question as this is where the instructions on the PE and the dragon ones show it mounted. The only thing I can imagine is, it is a crew modification and bolted to the fender from inside.

Camouflage has been added not that happy with it but hopefully the next stages will improve it.

Not sure why you dont like the camo Paul. Looks pretty good from here but I am about 500 miles away :smiling5:

As you say once the weathering process is complete most of it will have blended into the background
