Evening comrade Race,
Thats a lot of very nice progress! Paintwork looks good to me:thumb2:
I’ll have to try some fruils one day as they look the business. I like your glue Pots......I am also guilty of knocking over my glue more than once..... but I spilt mine into a pile of track pieces :tired:....a complete nightmare!
Good to see your enjoying this build still
I was a bit concerned with the paint primer coat at first as did a normal yellow then added some black to the cup so as it came out it gradually became darker, I ended up being pleased with the finish.
I just stick the bottle onto a lump of blue tac on the bench top.....works fine and can be swapped out for the next bottle in a few seconds....when in use I keep my needle files upright in a scrap of MDF with suitable holes drilled in it though.....
Tig is going well, by the way.....looking forward to seeing it develop....
Don't think so Pete, but when I showed it to Christine I gather the answer to getting one was in the negative :disappointed::disappointed::crying:.
Just had the post arrive, a letter from Mr Steve Jones Southern Command, Plymouth Area.
Fantastic of Steve to send all these parts. Top Man Thank you.
Of course now expecting a visit from the Fire brigade due to this.
Thanks Steve. :smiling2::smiling2::smiling2:

Hi John
You have been a busy bee. Model looking great. Hope you have patented the wire cutter and the glue holder. I'll bet we'll see Chinese knock offs soon on ebay.
How nice of Steve. Friendship and helpfulness - the cornerstones of this forum.

Afternoon from sunny Lincs.
Here at Race Towers I've been attempting to fit a few wheels on the Tiger .
Before I glue them on could one of you tell me if this is correct .Looking at the two drawings just confuses me .
The above is before those outer ones.
Assuming that this must be the outer one and fitted as .
Confusing for some one who normally only builds single wheeled Russian .
Thanks

The second wheel along nearest the hull is the wrong way round. You'll have to strip it all right down and start again!
Joking aside. The cogged drive wheels will be hard to put on judging by your photo. They should go on before you fix the single front road wheel. Watch out for the rear idler wheels as they too are sandwiched.
