Jakko, I'll have to look at that, the pictures I've seen show them more central than the kit, your picture looks less offset than Italeri put them.:thinking:

Odd. Maybe different factories or production batches had different locations? Probably your best bet, then, is to find a photo of a tank as similar as possible to what you want to build — or, of course, just to pick one option and run with it

They do seem to vary a bit, but your photo is the first I've see head on to the tank, so I may just go with that. It is possible that Hans the driller had a couple of beers with his lunch......:dizzy:

That said, managed to do some of the smaller bits done, seems to be getting to that point where it's the small, fiddly & barely noticeable bits that need doing!

Thanks Tim & Andy, the little fiddly bits do have to be done, as I keep telling myself when I'm trying to find the microscopic piece of etch on the carpet!
