Well I made a boo boo! :tired:tow cables ends are held with clamps that should be fitted at the same time as the cables but I already fitted them! So fingers crossed this will work. Cut the hoop off the cable eye, thread some wire through the bracket and ca together, if it doesn't work there will be no cables.hopefully they will be passable with some paint. That pre shading was something else Mark. A looking good , Rick is right in his comment about the weathering .I'm sure the cables will be fine.

After lots of messing around with the cables I decided the supplied thread wasn't going to work as it had to be threaded through a small bracket but wouldn't go because it kept fraying and unravelling so I had a go at making some by using some strands of very thin wire That came from the outer casing of some armoured electrical cable . Pretty pleased with how it's turning out as it's the first time I've tried it. New phone hopefully I will suss out how to take some better pictures!Click image for larger version
