Looking good.
Don't glue the wings on! The Tamiya kit has great fit at the wing root. And it makes painting so much easier lol.

Don’t the two little oblong pieces that hold the wings on ( on the underside ) need filling and sanding Ian?

The fit is pretty good and thb they are quite well tucked away. Maybe you can trim the stub on the cover right down, leaving just enough to catch the hole, fit and fill befor you mount the wing and push it on after.

Just caught up with the build log. Great progress Ian and I really like your decision to model the PR version.
