Ernie's OG TIE Fighter, Bandai 1/72

The TIE Fighter has been a staple fighter craft of the Empire from the original Star Wars movie evolving through all the sequels, spinoffs and expanded universe. This one is the original version from the initial film.
I will be building the Bandai kit, which is well detailed and from experience with other versions of the TIE from Bandai I know it should go together quite well. Not the most exciting entry I know, but the objective is to finish the Group Build, so I feel like I will have a decent shot at it with this kit.

    Construction will commence soon!

It's an iconic subject and I'm sure you'll finish it. Hard to believe that the first Star Wars film is almost 50 years old.

Have got the inside of the crew capsule painted, washed, and decaled. Mr. Color Medum Grey, AK black panel line wash and a light drybrush of Tamiya light grey. The decals went down ok, they seemed kind of thick, but settled down well with some Mr. Mark Softer.

Little to none of this detail will be seen when all is said and done, but it helps improve upon what skills I have.
