Ah, right, didn't realise that Pete,the rest of the panel should be black, and/or green,so not sure how that would work, too late now anyway... I primered the lot!! ....
... They do give some excellent individual clock decals in the kit...
... we'll see how it goes.

Certainly a very nicely detailed control panel, and all the other stuff is superb too,IMHO
I may not be going about this in the appropriate manner.. but I'm sure I will get some sort of result out of it

Just a brief update..

... Just a point, I've only done about half a dozen planes, but not seen the tail wheel split like that before!! ..
Here's some of the "Green"going on.

As an aside to the actual build,
The decals are superb imho... they are ready to slide into place very quickly ... And also,(again in my opinion),top quality as far as detail goes...
Hopefully you can see the ones under the nav board.. (WHY DO WE SPEND ALL THIS TIME DOING THOSE TYPES OF THINGS?!!),

Not the best of pics, however, it's actually coming along quite nicely so far

Fantastic looking cockpit andy , please tell me youre going to use the open canopy option, it would be a crime to shut all that detail away , cheers tony

Thanks Tim, yes it's rather nice, better to the naked eye in fact,I must admit that, unusually for me, I'm thinking of leaving the crew out... Although that does mean that I'll have to tackle etch seat belts for a first time!!

Wow Mr. Smiff!!! You two are really making very nice progress on this. Pit looks great and, I too agree you need to leave it open for all to see inside. Great stuff Andy!!!...
