    Closing ceremony

    Hi guys,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the GB participants. We had some nice and varied models, and I sincerely hope that those who have not built cars/bikes before will give them a go again in the future.

I myself didn't get to finish my 2nd build despite maximum effort over the last few days, but will get pics up in the general forum when it is done.

    All the best,

    B

Although I wasn't able to join in I certainly enjoyed seeing so many superb models built by fellow modellers. Well done all and thanks Bob.

            Glad you all enjoyed it.
In retrospect this thread title should have been "The Chequered Flag".

Well, I built my Honda, finished it in about a week, but couldn't post any pics as our new-ish PC refuses to connect to the intraweb or recognise the camera when I try to prep pics. So, bit of a dead liss all round. But I've been following everyone else through

Still, the GB DID make me want to build more 1/20 F1s...

Bob, my apologies for going silent for a big chunk of the duration of the Group Build and leaving my thread hanging in mid-air. I have been working on the little Renault and can either pick up the thread again in this section of start a fresh one in the general civilian vehicle forums if you'd prefer it. Thanks again for hosting the Group Build.
