A bit more progress π
Transfers have been added after it received a coat of Alclad Aqua Gloss.
There were relatively few to add and they are up to Airfixβs usual fine quality so no problems.
It has since had a coat of Tamiya semi gloss ready for weathering and then it will just be a case of adding all the finishing touches.
Another update soon, thanks for looking π

Finishing the props and engines is the next job on the list. I like the way it looks too, much better than the Blenheim Mk.I in my opinion.

Just a quick update to show some tweaks Iβve carried out on the kit π
A couple of little modifications Iβve carried out.
Firstly the gun turret, the original attachment point for the guns is a couple rather crude pegs.
Nothing like the real thing and it also resulted in the guns looking to far out of the turret, so I decided to chop them off and replace them with brass rod.
One removed and the arrow pointing to where I would drill the hole for the brass rod to be inserted.
The rod was bent slightly to improve the angle before being fixed into place with CA glue.
Here they are with the guns intake, not ultra realistic but a bit more elegant than the other and I think the guns now sit at a better position within the turret.
I also decided to give my new drilling/engraving tool a try out and hollow out the oil cooler intakes that stick out from the front of the engines.
Before
After
In place.
The exhausts have also had the same treatment.
Nothing major but simple little tweaks to improve the finished kit.
Iβm off to do some weathering next, thanks for looking π
