    Afternoon all,

Finally back to work on this after a 2 month break.

Lots of things have been snipped, sanded and primed, but that doesn't make a particularly interesting photo.

However the first bit of paint is down on the body.

    Si vis pacem, para bellum.

        - but all necessary to get a good fit and finish. Important on a shiny car

          Morning all,

Got the black sprayed on the body this weekend, about 2 hours masking and 15 minutes spraying.

I also sprayed a few of the other body parts black, but couldn't do the engine cover as there were a few dust spots in the red, so had to flat that back and will give it another coat of red.

                  Cheers guys.

I've been pushing on and finished painting the body and engine cover. These just need a day or so to fully cure before flatting back and decals.

And I also got the floor pan painted so was able to install the cockpit, firewall, engine and running gear.

Still need to add a wash to some of the engine parts to make them pop.

                        Afternoon all.

Quite a lot of slow work to move on with this build. The decals took quite a while, but once down and a couple of days to fully dry I got the gloss coat on today.

I will give this a few more days to fully cure, then flat back and polish. After that I can get on with the glass work, lights, etc and the build shoudl be pretty much done.
