    PJ's Commando Car - Italeri 1:35

So this will be my entry.
I have the Italeri Commando car kit to build, plus a few figures, so might end up doing a small dio of some sort.

    After a bit of advice.....
NB: Thanx to Paul for suggesting this 4x4 GB....
I have a couple of WW2 British infantry figures which I will be building along with this 4x4, possibly for a small Dio.

Despite having the book "Army Uniforms of WW2" which shows all the uniforms, in colour, albeit a bit faded as its a S/H old book, I don't know what the actual colour for WW2 British infantry uniform is called!

So can anyone enlighten me please? and maybe suggest a suitable paint code.
I have Tamiya acrylics, Revell Aqua acrylics, Mr Hobby Aqueous and Vallejo model color paints, as well as a few others.

    Is it "field drab" maybe?

    Cheers

Great thanx, as I thought Field Drab, quite close is Humbrol 76,(uniform green), Tamiya xf26, or Vellajo 895 or Humbrol 102, (Army Green) or Revell 62, or Vellajo 890 or Mr Hobby 303, so have a few choices, cheers.

Just realised that there are no decals with this model?
Should there be any? There are none shown on the box art, so.......

Thanx, I have some reference pics too, I'll have a look, but think I'll leave it without, maybe they were just being "Clandestine"?

Yep, very true, but TBH, I don't really get too concerned about historical accuracy personally. I just like building stuff and if it looks good to me, then not that bothered about 100% correct decals or minor details, etc..... 8-)

They certainly loaded up these vehicles and most look very well used.
