    Geoffs Hobby 2000 1/72 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.I

    Hello Chaps,

    Thank you to Paul for proposing and hosting this Group Build πŸ‘, this will be my entry.

    It’s the Hasegawa tooling with added paint masks and Cartograph decals re boxed by Hobby 2000.

    It has x4 schemes but the one I will be using is as the box art, an aircraft of No.25 Squadron based at RAF Debden in the summer of 1940.

    I’ll post up pictures of the frames/instructions etc later.

    Thats cool.I lived up the road from Raf Debden.When i was in my teens they had recon Scimtar and Scorpion regiments based there,17/18th hussars etc

    Transfers have issues, poor registry on a couple of them, fortunately I have spares available. Paint mask included are a welcome addition.

    I’ll start putting it together soon once I’ve got my Blenheim build a bit further on.

        A great choice. I built a Matchbox one many years ago, it's a very purposeful looking aircraft. I'll look forward to seeing this one built.
