Thing is ive always been a less is more type of person.....easy to get carried away and over do it....then it looks totally wrong......its knowing when to quit lol

Im gonna leave it til the panzer is done cos i think when that and the figures fill it out it might take away that 'something missing' vibe lol

Slow going here......and im blaming the hot weather.........taking a long time for paint to dry hard......this as far as im going with the figures for a while......they are shiny cos they had a clear coat ready for a wash

So im going to make a start on the panzer

Decals on.........next is to scab on the gubbins.......then a grubby wash



Figures need some detail painting that i forgot.....then some dry brushing to bring out the high points

Tracks painted.....fitted.......took off......repainted cos i didnt like them........refitted

Next will be some mud here and there

The dispatch rider is supposed to looking at a map.....the one that comes on the instructions is a bit lacking and in black and white.......been trying to work what i could use......was going to cut a 15mm square out of the map in my diary but its on thick paper.......a chance visit to a charity shop found a stack of pocket sized guides on various walks......each one had @25 maps A5 sized in colour on thin paper.......bargain at 20p lol

Ive tried splodging on some mud but it dried as 'dried mud'......i wanted something a little more wet since the track leading up to the bridge is wet.......had a bottle of vallejo weathering stuff thats supposed to mimic wet mud splashes.....thought id give it a go......antenna is just stretched sprue......i usually use some very small gauge wire but it just wouldnt stay glued on
