    "The Benchwarmer"

This is a 1/35 scale Tamiya M551 Sheridan tank. The history on this tank is that it was in active duty but never saw real action. According to a book I have there is no record of this tank firing its gun at a enemy. The Shillelagh missile launcher was a major disappointment for the U.S and it was retired in 1991 after 24 years in service. Feedback always welcomed, thanks for looking.

            Cooool!!

Not a true "heavy metal" machine as it is made from an aluminium alloy. It needed to be light weight for airborne deployment.

Way cool for its "different" main armament as it opted for a "lightweight" missile based solution rather than a cannon based option as weight was critical for its design.o_O
