    VK 4501 Tiger (P)

    Henschel (made VK 4501 H) and Porsche make with Krupp the tank VK 4501 P.Later came the VK4502 vorne and Hinten(Porsche design).VK stands for Versuchskonstruktion(Experimental design).

          Looks great. Does the turret colour represent a coat of primer? It certainly makes it stand out from the camouflaged crowd!

            Hi Doug
            ,i airbrush this with 3 layers of red colours.But it has to look like a "German Red Primer" from the factory.


            i start with red primer from vallejo,then i use 71.085 model air "Ferrari red" on top,and for sides i use 71102 "Red RLM 23"


            Later the black wash and some chipping with white colour + German Cam. black brown 70822 + "Gunmetal" 70863 vallejo.


            And off course a rusty wash!

              Nice work, very nicely painted and weathered. At first I thought the turret was facing rearwards.
