I'm not into Armour, but I do recognise a great build and even greater paint/weathering finish...first class work. Derek

Wow, thanks for all the lovely comments folks! I'm now sniffing around a few early Tiger models to do in the same colour, I think I've narrowed it down to an early version, without Zimmerit, but with plenty of PE!!
I've been reading up on oil paint rendering, which seems a really logical approach for me, given my background, and am slowly learning to be much more patient!Comment

Wow Im still catching up on stuff Ive missed , and when I came across this one I was impressed. Great job John I like the paint job a lot , and the weathering and rust is the perfect amount without going too far. Wonderful work....................ChrisComment

Thanks for the comments Chris, this one went totally to plan, which doesn't always happen for me (or anyone?), and it was a real pleasure from opening the box, to putting the wet oil marks as the last stage. It has set a new benchmark for me, and I hope my Tiger continues the trend!Originally posted by \Wow Im still catching up on stuff Ive missed , and when I came across this one I was impressed. Very nicely done John. The mud on the tracks is outstanding. The third picture down looks so real. Great work.Comment
