Completed, But Now Amended!....Tamiya 1/35 Tiger 1. Late Version... Michael Wittmann's 007...

I had great fun with this OOB build, I just added a few dangly bits.

Brush painted with a base coat of children's acrylics, then finished off with brushed on Vallejo Model Air Acrylics.

    'Home made' zimmerit.

Excellent independent, kit supplied track links. Great to work with and easy to get the correct 'sag' too. I was very happy with the end result. Why buy expensive after market ones?....Think Beer Tokens!:smiling4:

Here's the finished model. I've no doubt it has some shouldn't be on bits, that's wrong bits and missing bits.......I'll try and put it in a 'proper diorama' in due course.

Well that looks splendid. Although I think the 'pebble dash / plaster' would test my patience a bit too much.

Thanks Joe and Monica. I'm well pleased you like my model.

Monica - I must confess to being very happy with my attempt at the zimmerit - Making the cobbled road was good fun too!

                    Thanks again folks.

I've found a picture of the rear end of Wittmann's 007.
Normally I wouldn't be bothered about errors etc, but I couldn't let it go by as it was too big a mistake to leave. if I did, I would just keep looking at it - and I know it would annoy me!

So here is the original and the amended version. I also had a play with some old building frontages I made a while back.

                      Here is my 'Original'

The corrected version. On the right is now what I presume is a canister for a spare aerial. alongside the swapped over flat thingy. Also the jack is now over on the left. I ain't flinging the bucket - no sir!

Here's a bit of B/W fun with the building fronts.

No more alterations - That's it.

                      Thanks for looking.

I'm well happy you approve of Mr. Wittmann's tank 'modifications'. At least it's a bit closer to the mark than my previous attempt!

                          Cheers.

I've received a suggestion that Wittmann's tank might have had a fluffy dice.

So friend, try this for size!....:tongue-out:
