I really like what I see here Bob - and the use of Vietnamese red mud dust was very cunning, and realistic looking!!!
I've not seen that pigment/wash before... Gave me ideas!

It was this pigment

I applied it with a dry brush, really scrubbing it in to the texture of the plastic. I then went over it with a brush dipped in odourless thinners, most of which is taken off on a paper towel (a la dry brushing).
It's the same technique I used on the Bradley and gives a nice dry dusty effect.Si vis pacem, para bellum.Comment
