First tank in approx. 30 years?

    Hi,
I rediscovered modelling during Christmas 2017 when I bought HMS Victory in Aldis. I have had fun with a number of Airfix Starter Sets this past year and today completed my first tank. As a kid, I remember being upset if the build wasn't perfect. Well, given some of this tank is missing due to accidents when cutting the sprue (look at the tip of the gun) and I decided to splash some brown on it to give it a muddy look (to cover initial poor painting), I am pretty pleased. Also, I eventually got the top decal to stay down!

So, my Airfix 1:76 Cromwell Mk.IV...

    Regards,

    Steve Garnett

Hi Steve. Welcome to the forum.
I have moved this over for you and edited you edit out...
Nice little job you did there. As you say a few little mis-haps here and there, but at that scale and as a first.... You did OK.

                  Hi Ian,

Many thanks for moving the thread and for the encouragement!

It will be a tank next, probably a Tiger and hopefully will iron out some issues.

                  Regards,

                  Steve

                      Hi John,

Given I hardly know what a rivet is, though coming from a family of REME servicemen, not a problem!

                      Regards,

                      Steve
