    Hi everyone,

New to this forum but really glad to have joined. Have just completed a Tamiya 1/35 scale M1A2 Abrams Tank (Operation Iraqi Freedom) over the Christmas break.

    Keen to get everyone's comments

    Best Regards,

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum & congratulations on your Abrams! That's an impressive build, the paintwork is really good with subtle yet very effective weathering. I particularly like your shading, it works very well.

Only one tiny tiny thing, and it's a bugbear of mine, but I'd expect a 60 tonne tank to make a deeper imprint on the ground. Obviously if the desert floor is rock then that's not the case but it's something to bear in mind.

Hopefully you won't feel that I'm criticizing unnecessarily, because other than that small point, it's a 5 star job!

Hi. I like your ''workshop''. There is enought of everythink on your Abrams, and not too much. It's looking clearly, not covered by dirt but higly detailed.Good job.

Quality little dio this bud... Some top weathering always wanted to build a new tank especially an Abrams and if it looked half as good as this I would be chuffed
