    MENG - Warrior TES(H) 1/35

Built completely out of the box.

The kit itself was a great build with no fit issues and literally fell together ....

EXCEPT for the tracks which are nicely detailed individual links which are joined by using a jig holding 7 links and a sprue of 6 pins which are meant to hold the links together - however the pins are too short even if forced into the holes. So I ended up drilling and wiring the links to get them to stay together. I think that the pins need to be longer and made of a more rigid material to really work.

Painted with SMS British Light Stone (BSC No 61) acrylic lacquer which was a dream to spray straight from the bottle.

Great work on the build and finish.
I have found that it is easier to dispose of the 'pins' and replace with copper wire. It is disapointing to assemble all that track work, paint it, weather it, and then have it start to fall apart when you try to fit it.

That looks great Mark. I'm not an armour person, but a lad at work used to drive these (I think) so at least I've heard of it.

I worked with a chap who drove these too. 'Racing car of the armour world' he used to say. 'Brake and you can put it on its nose'!!!!
