Progress so far; up to section 4 - transmission and forward elements. Next element is the engine compartment that has some very unclear instructions and vague location points - should be fun! I thought there were small parts up to this point but I live and learn!

Looks good to me Steve. Definitely a case of lots of painstaking work and sadly little will be seen in the completed model . Luckily you have the photo to show how it is.

Well, what can I say Richard? Two busts and two spare heads - thanks so much, I'll start them ASP but I really am indebted to your generosity and really must donate something in return. I am reducing my library and have several Airborne titles, if you're willing I'll donate some to your 'interest' Just send me your address and it's a done deal! (PS: I hope you did send both packages, otherwise I have an apology to make to somebody!)

So, sitting here in shorts and Hawaiian shirt I can show you progress to date! The interior of the lower hull is fitted and went together reasonably well - I'm booked in to see the surgeon to discuss the fitting of mini-tweezers on one hand and a bionic eye with up to x40 magnification, but here it is as it stands! As pointed out earlier very little will be seen when buttoned up, but I'll have the satisfaction of knowing what's hidden!

I don't know what's going wrong here, neither does my tech-savvy wife, but posting photos is bl--dy nigh on impossible. Surely it can't be this difficult ... can it? At least the link works so sorry for messing you about

It works if you follow the link. I have just had a look and that is some seriously nice work.

Well, wheels are on and the next phase is the tracks; working on the radios and fitments of the sponson floors!. Trial fits show how little will be seen but i'm planning on making the majority of the topsides removable! Slowly, slowly, catchee monkey!

Once again, can't get photo's to appear (on this and other forums) - however at least the links work. Thank heavens for small mercies!

Steve, that looks superb. I'm glad your leaving some panels removable it would be a shame to hide that great interior.
